“My brother began to make his own deodorant over a decade ago because the store-bought stuff wasn’t cutting it. We both worked outdoors all day, and I would find myself constantly reapplying harsh antiperspirants that led to soreness and irritation under my arms. I was struggling to find the right product for me. I knew my brother was making his own, so I asked him for some and it worked.
Luckily for Rae of Sunshine, he didn’t write down his recipe, so when I ran out, I had no choice but to try and make my own. Throughout the years, I perfected my recipes and shared them with my family and friends, but when everything slowed to a halt during the pandemic, I decided to take it a step further.”
